The wood of Villa Ricci is an intimate and evocative space, about half a hectare of nature that preserves the historical and material memory of the villa in the heart of the Ostuni area. A significant part of the site coincides with the ancient quarry from which the stone used to build the villa itself was extracted.

This detail makes the wood a unique place: not only a natural environment, but a concrete testimony to the relationship between architecture and territory. The rock walls now converse with spontaneous vegetation, while the paths guide a slow discovery among trees, Mediterranean scrub and hidden views.

Among the most significant traces there is also an ancient well, a memory of rural life and of the relationship with natural resources. The wood thus preserves the quietest and deepest soul of Villa Ricci, offering an authentic and timeless landscape experience.
